Deon Thompson; 2011 Slovenian League All-Star game MVP

Deon held a door for me once in the English building when we were seniors; it seriously made my week. Go Deon! :D

I guess if nothing else it makes me appreciate xanga more.

Idk whether to keep going or not. Gotta think about it. We’ll see.

Hubble Unravels Odd Galaxy’s History
Not all spiral galaxies look or behave alike, as this image from the Hubble Space Telescope of the unusual galaxy NGC 2976 shows.
With this new detailed view, astronomers were able to use the brightness and color of its stars to reconstruct the galaxy’s history.
The galaxy, which is located 12 million light-years away in the constellation Ursa Major, has been shaped by its interaction with the M81 group of galaxies. M81 set off star birth in the distant past, but about 500 million years ago, new stars stopped bursting into existence through the outer galaxy. Some of the galaxy’s gas was stripped away, and the rest collapsed to the center, leaving just a region 5,000 light-years wide near the core that is still making stars.
What look like grains of sand are individual stars. Blue giant stars highlight where the remaining active starmaking regions exist.

Please stop posting things about Tobin. I don't mean to be rude, I just mean to point out that you're really violating her privacy. I'm sure that you have no malicious intent, and you just haven't really thought about what you're doing. How would you feel if someone you knew years ago was posting things about you without your knowledge or consent to get attention?

To answer the only question here: I wouldn’t care a whit. People ask questions, I answer them. Nothing I know is really a secret, or scandalous.  If anyone was writing about me in college it’d be far worse than this anyway. Here, I’ll beat them to the punch: junior year I almost dated a sociopath manwhore who once “got a girl pregnant, but she had a miscarriage, so it’s ok”. (WTF was I thinking… augh). I had a very obvious crush on a boy down the hall for three years that EVERYONE knew about and I got hardcore friendzoned. I was pathetic and my GPA was mediocre. I’m sure there’s more stuff that I’m forgetting.

Oh, and not doing it for attention either. I only came back to tumblr to look at pretty pictures. I don’t care if people follow me or not. I’m sure they’ll all disappear once they figure out how boring I am, anyway.

lol internet.

do you still have contact with her? :) have a nice day!

I still have a phone number that used to be hers, I don’t know if it still is. I’d feel weird texting her out of the blue, I have nothing interesting to talk about. Plus she was always bad about returning messages anyway so I have no idea if she’d ever get back to me. And most of my college friends I keep up with on Facebook but I’m pretty sure she deleted her personal FB page way back when cause she never used it. I am trying to move back to Chapel Hill by the end of summer so it is possible I may run into her in person again someday if she came to visit, which would be awesome.

Did Tobin ever date Brooks Haggerty? Saw that on the internet, didn't know if it was true or not. I think he was the UNC men's soccer goalkeeper.

Hm. Not that I remember hearing about, although she did live off campus when we were seniors, so it’s possible that it happened then and no one told me as I was frequently out of the loop when it came to these things.
